OUR MISSION
In 2020, Canada received more than 200,000 refugees and immigrants. The more immigrants and refugees I spoke to, the more I realized, they were only aiming for employment opportunities as cab divers, cleaners, dock workers, etc. This can be attributed to language barriers, insufficient degree equivalence, and lack of a formal network to engage and collaborate in.
The Refugees and Immigrants Organization (TRIO) connects incoming refugees and immigrants with an industry professional who overcame similar barriers as mentors and mentees. This promotion of inclusive and sustainable economic growth has the potential of creating decent jobs and significantly improving living standards can also aid in their seamless transition into Canadian society. Thereby, ensuring that no one gets left behind.

OUR VISION
If we don't stand for anything, then we are bound to fall for everything. The constant failure to achieve the sustainable development goals highlights that the youths need to take on more daunting tasks and ensure that everything that they are doing can contribute positively to the society that they're living in.
Our organization serves the refugee and immigrant population in Canada by creating a mentorship program that connects incoming refugees and immigrants to industry professionals. This innovative platform creates a network of professionals who can help immigrants and refugees break glass ceilings, facilitate economic inclusion, and seamlessly transition into Canadian society.
